Hi

so I have a tx65gx800b Panasonic tv, I have purchased an external hdd 2tb...how can I use the hdd to play picture and video files from a drone I have??
Also what format type do I need to do ? Fat32 or NTFS

I am disappointed that I can’t just connect my drone directly to the tv, I can do this on my old Samsung tv easily

You need to check first of all whether the file format/codec your drone shoots is compatible with the GX800. Compatible formats are listed on page 231 of the e-manual on the Panasonic website.

exFAT would be the best format for your drive as FAT32 has a file size limit of 4GB and full-res 4K footage (if that's what your drone shoots) can often produce larger files. Plus, if you want to put other video files on the drive you won't be restricted.

Hi
Thanks for the reply

my drone uses H.264and now I see that the tv is capable of that format... I am now wondering if I would be better off using a media server type thing to stream to files to the tv

just seems like that may be an easier solution, something like a nas drive...

Thoughts anyone?
