I used to be able to do it fine but since a new PC I can no longer do it

    I open up FlashFXP
    Go to the sites part
Enter the IP address of XBOX
Enter Password and Name of XBOX

    Click Connect

    And nothing happens

    Just will not connect

    Any ideas how to fix

I've just started using Filezilla instead, works much better than FlashFXP, as I ALWAYS had problems connecting with that.

There are also some good guides over at Xbox-Scene Hope this helps. :)

you must make sure that your pc is on before your Xbox (into OS). Then turn your Xbox on. At least i think its that way round, ive not done it for ages

why not just use windows explorer to do it, its pretty bare bones, but it can do most things that youd want to anyways.
theres an article over at xbox-scene about it

Have you set up the network properties of your PC correctly?

A great tutorial on networking your Xbox can be found here - I'd go through it, checking all of your settings along the way (xbox & PC) just to make sure it's not a setup issue.

make sure all firewall or anti virus software are off or configured correctly. also make sure your network card is turned on, and configured.

As far as I can tell everything is fine and nothing has changed

I have my PC and my XBOX connected to a dlink router

The XBOX can access LIVE and the PC can access the net it just looks like they do not want to talk to each other any more

Do you need to specify a port number maybe?
