Using display port but resolution won't change

I've got a MSI 670 PE currently connected to an HP 2475 via DVI-D and another monitor from DVI-I to VGA. Was working apart from the DVI-I connection is the primary booting until it gets to windows.

Since the 670 comes with a display port as does the HP monitor I thought I'd plug that in plus the DVI-I. However the display port seems to only offer 640 x 480 resolution.

Doesn't matter if it's the only cable connected or one of three connected, switch the monitor to the DVI-D and it's back to 1900 x 1200.

Looking at windows screen resolution it seems to list it as display device on mobile display. Nvidia control panel seems to say its an Nvidia Digital Display but again same resolution options.

Am I doing something completely wrong or is it a drive issue for windows or the GPU?
Would be nice to have it running on the display port as an option.

Yeah got the driver, albeit not the last version. It shows up for the DVI-D but not for the display port. Seems to show as generic plug'n'play in the device manager.

TBH might just leave it. Would be nice to have but not an essential just now

I'd get the latest version of the monitor driver, it's such a basic file that the only reason it's likely to be updated is to fix mistakes like this. It is separate from the graphics card driver.
