Using an old SKY HD box

I cancelled Sky five years ago, having never did upgraded to Plus or HD. I still have my ancient Sony digibox and Sky card, which works absolutely fine for all the free channels, but I now have an HD TV and am wondering if I buy an old Sky HD box for £20 on ebay and swap it with the Sony will I get the "free" HD channels such as BBC1/2/4, ITV, C5, CNBC, CNN, Bloomberg, etc?

Why buy a Sky Box? Better off finding a Freesat HD Box. Why not make it a PVR?

Yes, but mainly because there are several channels on free Sky that aren't available on Freesat. Anyway, I went for it, got a brand new HD box £17 delivered and all is well.
