Using a UK purchased iPad in New Zealand

Ones anyone know if there would be issues with buying an iPad here in the UK and sending it for use in New Zealand.
I am thinking just the WiFi model......

I don't know much aboutWiFi but does it vary by country and is each iPad " localised " to comply with any WiFi anomalies in each country
