Using a Plasma for text on a PC

I recently bought a Samsung PS42S5H and have been using it with a PC. I've found that it's quite good for photos etc but when you use it to edit text, some of the letters are hard to read - especially if the background is black and the letters white. Is this normal or do other users out there find that text is rendered extremely clearly with their plasmas. I'm thinking of swapping it for an LCD Monitor.

What resolution, and what connection are you using? This is a fixed pixel display, and for sharp text you MUST send it native res and then pixel match. You'll need to download some test patterns for that, a google seach should give you a link, every other pixel vertical, then the same horizontal, and some overscan ones.
