I want to use my IPAQ as a remote control for my TV & stereo.

Can anyone recommend software (preferably freeware) that is good for this purpose? I'd like it to learn functions and maybe to macros.

I found some free software somewhere on the web but found the IR sender on the IPAQ too weak to be usable from the sofa..... IPAQ 3600 ... waste of time. Works much better with a wireless compact flash card and rudeo to control windows Media player on my PC from anywhere in the house (and garden ... once I move my wireless access point closer to the window.. :p)

Checked my IPAQ and noticed that the IR is actually on the side adn not at the top so I think I will change my aproach & have decided to buy a Harmony remote after reading some good reviews of them.

Thanks for all the input here guys.
