Ok, I have my Viera 42 on the wall.

I have a state of the art PC only 6 metre away, but the two are not connected.

It seems criminal not to take advantage of the PC as a media centre, instead of spending more money on DVD and hard drive recorders. Or is it?

My PC has a radion 9800XT all in wonder TV graphics card, with remote control. My Plamsa takes PC SGVA input, and scart. So what is the best way to use these together.

Sure I can run an extra monitor cable across, but what do I do about the sound, without having to unplug the PC speakers every time?

Anyone got a way around this? I want to use the TVs built in speakers for the time being, but I want to use the PC speakers when I'm on the computer. Anyone?

And does anyone know how to set the PC up as a harddrive recorder?

video = VGA cable from the Radeon to the screen
audio = lineout from the PC to the plasma

presuming the PC speakers are hooked up to the PC speaker outputs no swapping/disconnect needed ...
