I need an expert advice for this problem.

The 4DTV satellite receiver can receive analog and digital channels. When an analog channel is selected, the output goes via the "Video" output, and when a digital channel is selected, the output goes to the S-Video output.

When using an older Sony XBR TV, I was able to connect the two outputs to the same "port" and the TV was able to detect the "active" input and select it for display.

The new Plasma TV does not seem to do that, and the S-Video is selectd once the plug is connected.

I suspect that there is a signal threshhold setting in the service menu that can be adjusted to solve this problem.

I would appreciate if someone can offer me any solution for this.

I do know that I can put the two plugs on different ports, but that would require me to swich between the two port while chennel surfing on the 4DTV :)

    Thank you
