Have the Pace Twin units changed at all in the time that they have been out ? For example, if I bought one second hand and installed all of the s/w updates would this be the same as buying a brand new Twin off the shelf or would there be a difference like newer chipset, hard disk etc ?

I'm considering buying a used Pace Twin so that I can upgrade the hard disk without invalidating the warranty but hopefully not have the problems a few of the units seem to have.

    Thanks all,

    Richie.

Can't be sure, but I've seen no comment on changes to the hardware, except.......many (if not all) early items had a minor audio noise problem which was fixable by a hardware modification. The one you are looking at may not have had this done (or may not have needed it).
