If I could get them for a similar price, which would sound better?

RumNYC, Have you tried to find a new CD33? I bought mine right after they released the newer CD36 and I got a great deal here at a dealer in Miami. They were offering discounts as an incentive to make way for the new model. I don't know what the CD192 goes for, and/or if your getting a good discount off that but I would see what you can find on a new "left-over" CD33, you might be surprised :smashin:

So I went to my dealer to try the CD192, and after hearing it repeatedly side by side with the CD73, I went for the cheaper model. It sounded as good as a Linn Genki or an entry-level Naim cd player I auditioned the previous week, and cost a 3rd. The part that really sealed the deal was the fact that if I wanted to, for a little more than the price difference with the CD192, I could upgrade to it.
