Use the subby crossover or the amp crossover?

    G'day all, here's an open ended question...

    Since most amps have a cross-over point adjustment (100 - 200Hz) and most subby's also have an adjustment on the back of them (sometimes 100 - 150Hz)

    Would it be preferable to use the Amp for cross-over cutoff or the subby ?

    Use the amp's x-over, the subwoofer should be set to the max. or bypass (if available), else you cut-off the LFE which is not effected by the amps settings.
