I would like to use my old Mesh PC as an extra resource/hard drive for my Dell PC. Can I do it?
I bought a MESH Ultima A1100 in November 2000. Its spec was as follows:
· AMD Athlon 1.1 GHZ CPU.
· 256 SDRAM PC133 ECC .
· 45GB 7200 RPM HDD with 2MB Buffer.
It is still working OK but I needed a PC with two built in hard drives, considerably more memory and an ability to drive two monitor screens to enable me to edit my video.
So I now have a Dell precision 370 Minitower. Its spec is as follows:
· P4 3.2 GHZ/800MHZ intel EM64T 2MB Cache.
· Memory 1024MB
· 1GB DDR2 400 NECC Dual Channel Memory (2x512)
· 250GB (7200 RPM) SATA Hard Drive with DataBurst cache
· Additional 400GB (7200 RPM) SATA Hard Drive with DataBurst cache.
Can it be done and how do I do it with my limited knowledge onPC s
