Hi guys
Looking for a bit of advice.
I have an existing home cinema set up that I am happy with, but Ive just replaced the tv part of it with a speakerless 50" plasma. So, I need to provide some sound for it.
I dont want that handled by my amp and speakers as they are not in the right position for the tv - I use a projector for home cinema and the speakers are positioned for that.
So - I want something which I can just hook up from the dvd/freeview to provide sound for the tv.
I like the look of the logitech units and everyone seems to be raving about them. However, I dont want a 2nd set of rear speakers up, and am happy doing without surround on tv programmes.
So - can I use the logitech units and just not plug in the rears? Will I still get front and centre ok with the rears unplugged?
Also - is the only difference between the 5400 and 5500 the sub size? If so I will go with the 5400 as its cheaper and huge bass isnt overly important.
Thanks y'all !
