Hi,

I'm thinking of buying a 43" 4K TV to use as a monitor for work (MS Office) and then to have something to watch streaming services on (I will have no other TV).

I'm thinking of spending about £350, on something like the Samsung UE43AU7100 or LG 43UQ80006LB.

I will be about 2ft away from the screen. So will 43" be too big, and will the non-matte screen cause eye strain?

Thanks in advance.

if you know anyone with a similar size tv take you PC over there and test it - even if you have to stand up if its wall mounted as its really subjective - personally I hated it and stuck with 2 x 27 inch monitors for work - better on my eyes and I can max a window in each as needed. You might find it OK

I think 43inch will be too big to sit that close to.
I have a cheap TCL 43 inch 4K in the bedroom hooked up to an old Dell desktop, i5 4590 with integrated graphics. I took some photos with my phone (shaky hands) from 2 feet and 6½ feet where my head resides @ 2160 and 1080p. Not very scientific but here are the results ....
