:lease: Help, I have NO spare PCI slots on my PC and need to increase my external storage. Installing a larger internal hard drive is a no go as my BIOS will not recognise a larger drive.

I therefore am after a PCI card that had 3 USB2 Ports, an Ethernet port (for networking) and a firewire port.

Do these exist? and if so any pointers to where I could get one.

    Thanks in advance
    Ryan

Have you already got a USB2 port on your Motherboard? You could use a hub to connect your USB devices to that and maybe something like this:
    http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/52599
    to retain your ethernet capability.

Doing everything that way will put a heavier load on your CPU but should free up some PCI slots, alternatively a new motherboard with the features you want built in may be an easier option. :)

Thanks, My PC only came with USB1. I had to add a USB2 PCI card but i get some compatibilty problems. I get USB2 transfer speads but a couple of USB2 products that i tried to use said that my USB2 card wasn`t USB2?

Which item would use more CPU that HUB from ebuyer or an all in one PC card?
