usb wall plate?

    Hi,

    Anyone got any ideas for mounting a USB on a wall plate?

    Get in a order to RS parts and get a USB socket. Buy and blank wall plate. cut out the correct sized hole and mount the socket. Then solder up the cable.
    I have no idea whether it will work or not.

    You do know that USB has a limit of 3m unpowered and 5m powered. If you want cables longer than this you must use powered hubs which will read and re-transmit the signal.
