USB SDHC 4G memory card reader

I have a camera that uses a SDHC 4G memory card.
I can read the jpg files using my PC using a cheap USB SDHC reader dongle.
If I stick the USB reader into the Humax is it likely to read it so I can view the jpgs on my TV.
Or is it a case of trying it ?
Thanks

Like all such devices I suspect it's a case of suck it and see :D. My hdr won't read the SD cards I have with the usb reader I have but others can so just have a go.

Seemed to work OK

The USB reader is about 1 inch by 2 inch in clear plastic.

I got it from a pound shop in Arndale Centre Manchester, cost £1.00 !

I got my 4GB SDHCfrom ebay for £5.98 specifically for in a new camera.

But I guess I can use it a a USB transfer for the Humax.

Are they ever likely to give us FTP access, it would be so much better !
Any news on this front?
