You may have seen the USB record function on some TVs, basically it allows you to record Freeview onto a memory stick and then play it back on the TV or PC. It also allows pause, rewind etc when watching TV.
However I wondered if I could get it to record from the HDMI or SCART port, to record my Xbox 360. Is there any way to do this? What if I bought a SCART to Aerial adapter (if they exist), will I be able to trick the TV into thinking it's recording from Freeview?
Specific model I own- Technika 23-231BR Red 23"HDR 1080p LCD/DVD TV with built in Freeview and USB record - Tesco.Direct
