Hi All,
I cannot get wintv2k to run without crashing in Vista HP 32bit. All my details are below (copied from support email). Has any one else found a fix, or can you recommend a stable bit of software to replace wintv completley?

Thanks
Rolfee

I am running following spec machine

• Intel Duo core 2 CPU 6600 @2.40Ghz
• 2 x Nvidia 8500gt SLI (SLI not turned on) (duel monitor) – most recent graphics drivers installed
• 2046mb RAM
• ASUS P5 SLI motherboard
• Vista Home premium 32bit edition.
• Connected directly to USB port not via hub

I cannot run Wintv2000, every time it opens the application crashes, I reboot the machine and it opens first time only, then any channel change crashes the program. Below is the error message.

I have run your hardware clear program several times, re-installed the driver/software several times (including only installing the wintv software and nothing else), same result, I even tried wintv beta version and same issue. I ran through every fix on your website + cannot find a fix on any of your knowledge base or forums.

Please can you advise how to fix this as I have a product I cannot use.

Hi All,
Got a response from Hauppauge and tried it and seems to fix issue. I set it to allow overlay, turns off Aero visuals but gives you fully functional wintv2k.

"Can you go to start/programs/hauppauge wintv/primary and then select one of the options (Force Primary, Allow Overlay or DIB draw). Try running the application with each change."
