US sat nav for a few days in Florida.

Going to US and after a sat nav for am Android phone.

I don't really want to pay much if anything as won't use again really.

I won't have data enabled so Google maps is out. I've seen navfree, had anyone used it in real life as such in US? Is this the best option?

I too am off to the US soon. Whilst not free, I have downloaded Sygic which has US maps and a 14 day free trial. maps save locally. No data connection required :)

hmmm thanks when does the trial start from? After downloading it or starting it up 1st time?
I don't need it till half way through holiday so could get away with it by not using at first.

I think I'll do this and get Navfree in case

Not sure. I need mine to get to the UK hotel at the airport!
