I'm off on Holiday to the US and I'm really interested in the prices of the Sony Universal remotes. I've seen the RM-AV3100 for $94.

The equipment it needs to run is
    Harmon Kardon AVR 230
    Harmon Kardon DVD 22
    Toshiba 36ZP38
    SKY - Pace digibox

Now the Sony site lists codes for Harmon Kardon and Toshiba but not pace. I've used a RM-AV2000 in the past so I should just be able to manually program it if there are no codes for it. I don't mind reprogramming all if I have to.

Can someone confirm this sounds correct before I order?

    Thanks

    Stuart

    :)

Yeah, you shouldn't have any issues with a US remotes. The codes will work ok for the equipment you've got, save for SKY (which you can learn).

The only thing that springs to mind is RED,GREEN,YELLOW,BLUE keys - used for teletext. These are specific to europe, and there may or may not be labels on the lcd of the US remote for these.

You can check www.remotecentral.com for more info.
