Is anyone selling an M&k sub suitable for a smaller room.
    Ie K9, 10, V75 etc.
Id prefer something that didnt need collection if possible.
It needs to be black and in very good condition.
    Cheers
    Paul

I have a VX-100 in black and in perfect condition. Was European Sub of the year a few years ago and still performs fantastically well. It is very compact and has a small footprint. It would need to be shipped though. I have original packaging, which is also perfect so it would come to no harm. After all, it found its way from Los Angeles to me unscathed !!

    Thanks Stu
Ive realy got my heart set on a K10 if possible.
Im hoping to later purchase a K11 to add to it.
    If I cant find a K9 or hopefully a K10 within the next 5 days I will re-post
and consider your offer if still available.
    Thanks again
    Paul

    No Problem Paul

The VX-100 is more powerful and will perform as well if not better that the K9 or K10 so unless you need the K9 or 10 for a specific reason the performance will be similar.

All the best and good luck :smashin:

    Hi Paul,
I would not recommend the K series sub's. Although the K series speakers are fantastic (I use them myself), the K series sub's are not really up to much. I have heard a few of them up and running, and have not been impressed.

I use the V-125 sub, and this is a marked improvement over the K series sub's. No comparison in my opinion. I would spend a little more on a good sub, you really will see the benefit.

I would recommend Stu's VX-100 sub. It get's great reviews. I bought his SS-150THX surrounds, and they were in mint condition. If the sub is similar, it will be a great buy...

PS Stu doesn't mind a bit of haggling...

    Cheers, Lee

    Hi guys
    Thanks for the advice.
I managed to find a K10 in Swindon.(late last night)
Im now wondering if Ive made the right decision.
My AV room is quite small so I was a little concerned about having anything too powerful. Ive also read good things about pairing a K10 with a K11 ( my intention for the future).
As long as the new sub outperforms my KEF sub (supplied with 2005) I will be happy.(?)...watch this space STU maybe I will need your sub in a couple of months anyway!
    cheers
    Paul
