Hi all, with the speaker wire arriving this week, I'm looking at defining the final location for the rear and ceiling speakers. I understood from the Dolby site that the atmos and rear speakers should be in the same line as the front speakers, but do the location of the ceiling and wall beams, that will be impossible. Is it important to remain "balanced": distance from MLP to L and R rear speaker equal, or will be amp be able to correct for this? Visually I would place the speakers on each extreme of the sofa (which is about 3m long, so roughly 1,5m from the MLP). This would push the rear further apart compared to the fronts, which I can't move further apart (or I would need to mount them on the ceiling, which I not ideal with the center placed under the TV). The fronts are about 85cm from the middle of the TV. I hope the above makes sense... So in short, will the amp be able to compensate for a less then ideal speaker location for both the rears and ceiling speakers?
