    Hello,

I am building a home theater in my basement and need help about its size.
It will look like a big perfect rectangle except for the back wall that I am planning as a curved wall. The 3 straight walls forming the rectangle cannot be changed. But the positioning of the curved back wall is still open for changes. The thing is do I need all the depth available to me or should I limit the use of it in order to preserve the acoustics.

Here are the sizes (see attached plan too):
    - the front wall (width - where the screen will be) is 4.26 m (13.9 ft)
    - the back wall can be as far as 8.2 m (26.2 ft) from the screen

What is your suggestion considering the following:
    - the screen will be fixed to the wall
    - the projector is a Sharp xv-z10000 for the moment
    - the audio system will be 7.1

    Thanks
