I'm looking to buy a laptop, but honestly everywhere I look, I end up choosing something else, so hopefully you guys can help me out. If you don't think it's possible to find one within my range, feel free to tell me.

Budget: £700 (preferably less, might be willing to stretch to 800)

    Specs:
    Processor - Intel i7 Quad-core
    Hard drive - 1TB
    RAM/Memory - 8GB+ (with 2 GB dedicated Nvidia Graphics)
Screen - 15.6+ (Full HD preferable)
Optical drive - BluRay (much preferable, but not necessary) along with a HDMI port

It'll be used for browsing, documents, streaming videos and downloads, and maybe occasional gaming. I won't really be taking it anywhere so weight/size isn't a problem, and also battery life shouldn't be an issue, as I'll probably keep it charged all the time. A newer model (ie 2013) would also be preferred. Also, would it be possible to get one with a SSD?

So I'll leave it to you guys to advise away. :smashin:

What's that website like in terms of reliability, delivery, etc? I've never heard of it, but if it is good enough, I'll give it a go.

The MSI has been considered, especially as I'm not too fussed about looks. I just want the performance, which this has been lauded for. The only drawbacks would probably be the lack of a Blu-Ray drive and non-Full HD screen.

To the poster above, what kind of reviews does the Dell have?

How quick is the delivery, and is it free?

I've found the same model with the Full-HD and BluRay drive, albeit without the SSD for £50 more. Do you think that would be worth it?

Yeah its free delivery within 5 days, if you want it sooner you have to pay. If the BluRay and Full HD are more important to you then yes it is worth it but if, you are only getting them for the sake of it then no
