    Hi guys,

Im posting on behalf of friend who wants to buy a plasma bfore his wifes birthday next week. He has seen the JVC at Richer Sounds here

    http://www.richersounds.co.uk/index...63&PHPSESSID=25c5e64c550c3fd4aa8457d76382fef8

for £1700 with speakers, and terminal boards and no wall mount. I've looked for reviews but cannot find any.

I've been telling him about the panny 6 offer through these forums for around £2200 (?) which he sounds interested in but not sure about - will you kind people please justify the additional spending or help and let me know if the JVC is any good?

It'll be linked with a digibox and a sony dvd player.

All help really appreciated in advance

    Many thanks,

    Neil

I have the Panasonic, its superb and yes, worth the bit extra :)

Its £2140 ish if you find the offer link, and you get a free input board, and either a wall mount bracket, or a stand mount.

at the end of the day all you can do is give him all the info required and let him make the decision! if he opts for the JVC and dosnt like it then the "i told u so" saying comes to mind !

Question here is - is it REALLY for his wife's birthday, or is it a present for himself ? :) If I bought ANY type of AV gear for my GF, I would get killed, murdered, shot and then burned at the stake.

Never buy a present for a woman that has a plug on it. Tissue paper is more the mark than cardboard too.
