The COD thing from Tenspot can be a bit of a lark, but I think it's down to UPS inconsistency. Some people have been able to pay by credit card, sterling or euros, whereas with others it's been sterling only, or Euro only.

When my kit was arriving I phoned UPS and they told me I had to pay in Euros cash, as that is what had been specified by the sender. When the UPS guy arrived, he said he wasn't allowed to take Euros, only sterling. He had to make a bout 3 phone calls before he was happy to take the Euros in cash I had ready.

Yep, in fact my exact setup via Tenspot cost me £1024 including the Euro plug adaptor + the hassle.

It would be £1034 from the new UK powerbuy option, so an extremely competitive option now.
