Upscaling...??

    Hi.
    I have a 36" Phillips CRT connected to a Pioneer 868AVi via scart. How do I upscale a dvd or can it only be done through the HDMI connection?

    I think it only upscales via hdmi,

    That is correct I'm afraid. To be honest I'm not sure how much improvement you'd get on your CRT at 720p even if the 868 could do that via analog.

    Thanks for the reply guys. I was just wondering how its done and figured it was only through HDMI. Time for a 50" Pioneer I think :D
