I'm thinking of getting an upscaling DVD player but need pointing in the right direction.

I like the look of the Denon DVD1940 at around £200-£250. Is this the best for the price? Or should I go for a HD DVD etc?

If like myself, you dont want to go for blu-ray or HD-DVD yet then i think the Denon 1940 would be a superb choice!

I reserched for a couple of weeks before getting my Denon 1940 and going through my Sony 40X2000 using HDMI 1080P upscaling, the picture made my jaw hit the floor!

I got mine from richer sounds and they price matched the web so i got it for £192!
