UPnP NAS Caddy for an SATA drive

    Are they as rare as they seem ?
    Or am I just looking ath the wrong things ?
    I want to buy a caddy, that I can pop in an existing 1Gig SATA drive that can work as a Nas drive and is UPnP compatable so will work on my ps3

    I can only find one listed on ebay
    Page Not Responding

    which makes me think I am searching for wrong thing ?
    DO they exist ? Do big pockets or SVP sell such thing ?
    Do PC World ? (yes I am THAT desperate) for one

    just want something simple that can be hidden away but which my ps3 can access

    i would make sure you fully test these kind of small nas devices. I have had around 3 or 4 and found them to be very unstable (reboot needed at least one a day).

    There are also known issues with trying to store any files larger than 4Gb on alot of them

    Only one I managed to get working was the Synology DS-101g+ like this one:
