    I've got a Panasonic ecam nv-ds65. I installed the camera driver but after checking the guide 1000 times I don't see how can I upload the video from the tape to the pc.

    I go to MyPc expecting to find a removable disk or something to access the video or the pictures, but there's nothing. I've tried turning on the camera to the different modes when connected to pc but still no joy.

    The Arcsoft sw supplied w camera is only editing sw for pics.

    I don't know what else to do.

    help will be very much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Are you using Windows XP?
    If so why not use MS Movie Maker to capture your video from the camcorder. I believe it supports analouge and DV (obviously DV is better). You can find it:

    Start->Programs->Accessories->Windows Movie Maker

    How have you connected the camcorder to the PC?
    If it is by USB then this is only for stills and perhap webcam use.
    To get DV footage onto the PC you need to connect by firewire. You will then need software such as torrent recommended to edit it.
