What good sites are there for uploading and sharing photos with friends? I'm currently using Yahoo, but images always seem to be displayed at half the resolution you upload them.

    Cheers,
    Liam

You could just upload them to your own free webspace, i.e., you should have a few MB's with whomever your ISP is?

All you would need to do is create an Index.html with a description/link to each photo you upload. Then users could view the the photo's by clicking the appropriate link.

If you're not familiar with HTML, I can do you up a simple little Index (.txt file which you can rename to .html), and you can edit the filenames according to the photo names.

I'm sure there are other websites but this way you will have full control over the resolutions you upload at etc.

I do have 30Mb web space that I was considering using, it's just I've already started to eat into that with my own web site, and I quite like the Album/Slideshow/etc functionality of the dedicated sites. I figure that I am more likely to get round to uploading pictures if it's very easy.

    Cheers,
    Liam

I'm with Freeserve and being a lazy sod use their Digital Photo Album 30Mb and very simple to use.
I take all my photo's at 1280x1024 which come out a little too big when viewed full size on Freeserve's site but I guess thats the type of thing you were after??

www.brinkster.com offer ad free basic web hosting in the region of 50Mb per account. Im sure you could use it as a dumping ground. Im sure there are lenty web based slide show tools that you could upload
