Upgrading Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 for more 'bass'

I have recently acquired Cambridge audio 640c and 640 a v2s and a Project Genie turntable. I have hooked them up to my wharfedale diamond 9.1s that I used to have on my old denon mini system.

The new system sounds great - however my wife likes listening to cello records and would like to get more extension in the deeper notes.

With a budget of c£300-400 (happy to look at recent 2nd hand as well) - any suggestions appreciated.

thanks

I presume you are looking at smaller speakers/standmounts. I would look at second hand PCM DBM1+ speakers. Few small standmounts are as capable in the bass department.

I've got the space for floorstanders and could push the budget slightly if that would help
