I'm a bit of a noob on the subject so bear with me. I'm thinking about upgrading my Sky box to Sky+. Can I then use my existing Sky box to access Sky from my bedroom without paying for Sky Multiroom (not bothered about being able to watch different channels)? Or am I limiited to freeview after buying an extra card from Sky?

No, all you will get is the "Free-To-View" channels after buying the card.
You will also require another coax feed to the digibox in the bedroom from the quad Lnb on the dish.

Thanks for the reply Jaycee. Will the sky installer run the extra feed for me? Also, can I use one of those remote eye things to get sky+ in the bedroom instead and just sell the sky box?

Well the Sky+ installer will run the 2 coax feeds to the new Sky+ box, but won't run the extra coax to the bedroom unless you talk nice to him, feed him Tea and ask him nicely for a small bung no doubt.
Yes you can just run a coax feed from the RF2 outlet on the rear of the Sky+ to your Tv in the bedroom.......the Tvlink will allow you to operate the Sky+ box remotely.
Good luck......enjoy it, I have had it myself for about 6 months now and it's great. :hiya:
