upgrading to sky+

    hello,just a quick question,if you have a sky subscription with standard digibox,and you got a secondhand sky+ box,can you just phone sky and have the existing card authorised in the new box.Or do they have to send new card.[ having fitted twin lnb,cable etc.]

    You will have to get a new card as the smart card will only work with the box the card is reg'd to. I wouldnt think sky would have any problem with this.

    I'm pretty sure you can keep the same card. You can move the card across different standard Sky digiboxes no problem and when Sky upgrade Sky+ themselves you keep the same card. Just give Sky a ring.
