HI guys, apologies if this has been covered but need some help.
I want to upgrade my Sky HD box to the new 1TB version but have a lot of recordings I don't want to loose, could you give me some suggestions into the best way I can swap over boxes but still be able to watch my current recordings?

Thanks in advance
Sam.

It's a 1.5tB machine, and there are a lot of posts and threads about your enquiry - please check those.

It's typical Sky misinformation - the machine is labelled 1tB but it actually has a 1.5tB drive of which 500gB is reserved for the Anytime "services".
I tried a forum search for "upgrade hard drive" and many threads came up - HTH - Logi.

Ah right that sort of makes sense then that only 1TB available for recordings.
I wish they had a way to transfer recordings, but i'll do a search as you have suggested and see what I can come up with, thanks again!

That's OK - ask again if necessary and others will let you know how they went about doing theirs.
