Upgrading speaker cables on a Bose Acoustimass 15?

I recently purchased a Bose Acoustimass 15 5.1 speaker system (yeah I know
nobody likes Bose here but I have a wife more interested in what it looks like than what it sounds like!) and the standard speaker cables supplied look to be fairly indifferent quality. Does anyone have an opinion as to whether upgrading
will make any noticeable difference and any recommendations that will not break the bank?

Hello stevehall

You'll never a get a definitive answer to that question - no matter if your using Bose or any other brand of kit.

Lots of folk in two camps - Speaker cables make a difference vs. Speaker cables make no difference.

I doubt you going to make much if any difference by replacing the supplied cables - have a look in the AVForums Cable Power Buy section if you want a relatively low cost option to try in your system.
