Upgrading or wait?

I have a Yamaha RX-V2095RDS which i bought back in 1999, it has served well and i haven't had any need to upgrade.

I also have a Toshiba HD-DVD player which i feed the Yamaha with analogue connection to get DD+

Is there any need to upgrade as i have got offer for around £200 for my Yamaha, it was well over £1200 during it's time.

Should i wait til the new HDMI 1.3 with built-in DD+ and Dolby TrueHD arrives on the market next year?

I don't want to waste money now just because i want to buy something new.
