    Considering a change from my 128Gb iPhone 6+ I've had a while.
What's the iPhone 7+ or 8+ like compared to the 6+ I have.
Is it a worthy upgrade or not much difference really.
Had the 6+ a few years and it's still faultless if I'm honest.
I usually always got the latest handset but shied away for past few years as I'm under impression there's not much difference & I wouldn't feel like I've got a new handset if that makes sense.

I always just buy the handsets outright from Apple.

Any advice would be great as I'm toying with maybe the new Note 8 or maybe the S9 when out.

The iPhone X in my opinion is way over priced so I'm not willing to buy that.

The fingerprint reader on the 7 & 8 plus will be much faster than your 6 plus and the camera should also be better quality.
I went one model up from a 6+ to a 6S+ and the fingerprint recognition is twice as fast.

Went from a 6 Plus to an 8 Plus and couldn’t be happier. Much faster in general use and a great camera. Sound is much better as well.

I tried a X for two weeks and found it too small in the hand and didn’t get on with the narrower keyboard so returned it for a refund. If Apple had produced a X Plus then I might have been swayed [emoji41]

Still a big increase in specs over the 6+ and 7+ And remember that the 7+ is actually two versions newer than the 6+ as there was a 6S + afterwards.

So you get faster internals(faster processor and more ram) and Touch ID is upgraded and will be way way faster, just touch and bang your on the home screen in a split second. Downloading apps and games will be faster, basically anything to do with the internet will be faster like surfing the internet on safari aswell, videos will load quicker on YouTube.

Camera front and back massively improved and you have portrait mode on the back camera which is nice.

Sound will be WAY WAY better as you’ll have the extra front facing speaker hidden under the ear piece. So two front speakers instead of the one on the 6+.

Battery is another area that you’ll see a huge improvement over your 6+.

If all that’s not enough the 7+ is also water resistant aswell.

The only thing that you won’t notice much of a difference with is the screen quality as the panels are both similar 1080p, but on the 7+ They’ve tweaked and improved the colours so pictures and videos on YouTube will look better and more vibrant, not a huge difference but you will notice everything looks more punchy even the apps on the home screen.

So I think you’ll agree it’s very much worth the upgrade. If you said you wanted a 6S+ id have probably said don’t bother, but 7+ onwards, what are you waiting for? Get one!

I’d advise you to think carefully about moving to Android, you might regret it like I did, I only lasted 2 weeks with a Galaxy S7 last year, sold my iPhone 6S to get it, then got my iPhone 7plus. It’s never greener on the other side!

Got my 128gb 7 Plus for £480 and that was 6 months ago. Still got over 100gb free space! Nice to have the extra room.

Still love it as much as I did when I first got it, superb phone all round
