I would like to upgrade from my Denon 3802 to a processor/ power amp combination. I am aware that I would have to spend about £2000+.

    My choices for processor are:

    1. Rotel RSP 1066

    2. Tag Mclaren AV30R

    3. Cyrus AV8

My choices for power amps are:

    1. Rotel RMB 1075

    2. Arcam FMJ A32 and Arcam FMJ P35/3.

The Rotel RMB 1075 isTHX Ultra specified but the Arcam amps are not - does this mean the Rotel is better?

If the processor sounds good in 5.1 is it worth missing out on 6.1 and THX certification?

I would like to keep the Arcam FMJ A32 as it is good in stereo.
Could you suggest a pre/power for £2000 that would sound as good as it? Would the Rotel RSP 1066 / Rotel RMB 1075 sound as good in stereo as the Arcam A32.

I am currently using the same front left and rights for music as well as home cinema by coonecting preouts from my Denon 3802 to the Arcam A32. Would adding the Rotel RMB 1075 to my current setup cause problems or improve the sound?

    Sorry about the long message
