As someone who edits shots and plays games on PC and consoles, I always make sure any future displays ordered by me feature good blacks, sRGB and Adobe RGB. Along with low input lag. However since 4K has been gaining a lot of momentum of late, I need to find a good 4K monitor in the near future like either late 2016 or early to mid 2017.
Brands have I looked at so far: Dell and acer
List of models looked at by me: Dell UP3216Q & Acer Predator XB321HK | Black Level reviews don't sound too promising
Preferred Screen Size: 27-32 inches
Type of games I play: Racing, Action, Adventure, First or Third Person Shooters
Formats used for editing: TIFF & PNG - Converted from RAW
Editing Software Used: Photoshop
sRGB & Adobe RGB Ratings Neede: Both need to range between 95% to 100% with 98% being my main prefence.
Current display connector used: DVI | I am looking to upgrade to a more powerful system in the next few years since my current PC is 5-7 years old. Yet if I don't upgrade in 1-3 years time, then a DVI to Display Port cable will be ordered.
Budget: £800-£1,200
