I'm waiting for Sky to install FTTP, they're indicating I will get around 145mbps.

My current set up is that I have a Netgear FS726T switch attached to the router and also a TP-Link TL-SF1008P also attached to the router for POE access points.

With the above two switches am I going to lose speed by keeping these?

Yes you will lose speed, sadly both your router and your switch are 10/100 which is below the 145 Mbs of your new broadband connection

Thought that might be the case. Thinking I’ll look at a POE switch then.
Any recommendations?

Out of interest, what happens if I do upgrade and keep the current set up? Will it just cap everything off at 100mbps?

I use one of these happy with it, use it in part to power/supply a couple of Ubiquiti Networks UAP-AC-LITE WLAN
