Upgraded SKY HD box HDD

Fitted a new western digital caviar green 500gb hdd yesterday to my Thomspon Sky HD box. Used copy+ and got my old recordings over fine. Started watching it and everything's fine for a few minutes, then I started getting picture dropouts and signal warnings. I then decided the hdd must be incompatible so I put the original hdd back in it. Reconnected the box and found the problem was still happening. Then my wife says that the multiroom sky+ box is not working either. I panicked and thought to myself just how badly have I screwed this up? Then I calmed down a little and took a look outside, lo and behold the dish receiver is covered in several inches of snow...

Cleared the snow off, dropped the new hdd back in and everything's working again (so far).

Always the worst scenario.....when something, that has absolutely nothing to do with the problem at hand, decides to go wrong.:D
