I am currently running the Kef 2005.2 package in 5.1 format. I am looking to buy a new receiver in the near future. The possibillities include the Marantz 7500, Denon 2805, HK 335, and Pioneer 1014. Whilst I am waiting for some of these to be released though, I was thinking about upgrading the speakers to full size. I won't have much extra money to spend, but presuming I can get a reasonable price for the Kef eggs, I could have about £600-£700.

Firstly, am i going to see much of an improvement doing this, or is better to wait and invest the money into a better receiver/amp.

And what packages would people recommend, would be used for films and movies, say 75/25 respectively. But would like to get a fairly decent quality of sound, at low levels, rather than having to hike the volume.

    Thanks for any help given.
