Hi all, I am thinking of upgrading my digital Sky subscription to the Multiroom Sky+ offer thats out, now finishes tomorrow .
The offer is for 149 they will supply + fit sky+ then my own existing Sky digital box goes in a room of my choice and this can then be used independantly from Sky+ I think this comes with a 10 quid lift in subscription charges ,but I'm shelving my movies and keeping Sky sports so There will be a 2 quid differance raise altogether.

Question I have magic eye in our bedroom from my existing sky digital (not working at present), If I have sky+ fixed downstairs , would I be able to continue with my magic eye in our bedroom and control sky+ from that?(obvs cable still in place)
And then I thought my existing Sky digital box would be able to go in my daughters bedroom as the multiroom option, and will my daughter be able to get Sky+ to work in her room via another Sky+ remote or not???

    regards
    Yorkie

the Sky+ works exactly the same thru the magic eye as did your Sky. Only difference is your old Sky remote will not work the new Sky+ box so you will have to buy a new Sky+ remote. Got mine on Ebay for £12 incl postage, brand new

    Hi,

Tried to get SKY+160 at £299, the answer was no, despite I was lifting my package from £19.50 to £35+£10 for multi room.

Any ideas to make them see sense ?

    Thanks

goes back to the thread ongoing a few weeks ago about Sky subscribers trying to upgrade to Sky+, try a search and this should give you the problems some were getting- Sky + for £99- seems Sky were clamping down on this. Then a few days ago someone posted that they had managed to get the £99 deal thru a Sky booth at a local store.
I actually cancelled my subsctiption then called back and got the £99 deal, maybe I was one of the last lucky ones.
