A friend of mine is moving and longer has use for his Sky+ box.

He has kindly offered to let me have it.

Is it a simple case of unplugging my current sky box and putting this one in ? Do I need to do anything with the Dish ?

I assume I just contact Sky and get my subscription amended (but no increase in price as I currently pay the full price) ?

    Thanks.

SKY+ requires two LNB inputs, your dish will probably only have a single LNB atm.
So get him to give you his Quad LNB as well and then you'll have to fit it and run a second cable makign sure you don't screw up the dish alignment. Once that is done just ring SKY to marry your card to the SKY+ and to activate the recording features.
