Sorry if the question comes across as ignorant but I'm typing this during half time of the Everton Pool match.

Anyway to the question at hand, I have Sky plus at the mo and I was thinking to upgrade to Sky HD, as it talks about HD being an extra 9.75 does that include the recording facilities or would that be on top of of the HD price?

    Thanks in advance ;)

You don't pay for the sky + recording feature as long as you subscribe to a mix of channels the 9.75 is for the hd channels.

Sorry to make it clear if I say just want the family pack and not any movies or sports I should only need to pay 9.75 extra a month and I will recieve sky + facility and HD on those channels, like Sky 1HD?

Yes! You get 13 HD channels (all the ones except movies and sports) for £9.75 extra. In fact, even if you have only 1 SD-Mix, you still get all the HD-channels (despite the fact that you don't take the Mix that the corresponding SD channel is in!)
