    Hi all.

I have a Philips 6006 nicam WS TV and a Philips VHS recorder. All fairly modest kit I know. But I was wondering would I get better results upgrading my SCART leads that came with the units. Or would an upgrade be wasted on my setup.

If it is worth it can anyone recommend an entry level upgrade for scart.

Similarly sky digi box to video or tv is it worth upgrading the basic scart lead that I am using.

    I would appreciate any advice.

You could try the "Home Cinema" range of scart leads from Maplins. The 0.75m is approx £15. I have used these leads to connect my video and think there is an improvement .I don't feel it's worhwhile spending a lot of money on a scart lead to connect up a VHS video.

    Hope this helps
