Hi

I have had my Sony system for four years without a problem but have noticed a problem with the amp. When watching Sky the sound for the left hand speaker disappears for periods and then comes back. I have checked the cables (they were ok) and the problem lies with the unit itself. So, I have come to two conclusions.

1. Get it repaired (anyone got any experience on kit repairs?)

2. Upgrade to a separate amplifier (Yamaha DSP AX757SE) and run this through the the old speakers. Can I run this amp through my old speakers, will I have to buy new speakers too?

hi there this unit suffers with dry joints on the speaker terminals where it mounts to the pcb, should be a smiple fix.

Hi

What does this mean? Can I fix it myself, or do I have ot take it to a shop?
